We’re your go-to for when the pediatrician didn’t explain it, your friends gave five different opinions, and Google just made you panic. Created by real specialists (who are also real parents!), it’s the place for honest, helpful advice that actually makes sense.

Built by a mom who needed answers, for moms who still do.

When I became a first-time parent, I had the books, the courses, and even a specialized background working with babies and toddlers full-time. I should've felt prepared.

After a rough start to motherhood (shoutout to all the first-time moms who got totally dismissed by their pediatricians 🙃), I realized something big:  Even with my background as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Feeding Specialist, I still didn’t have the support I needed.

No one told me how to navigate body tension while nursing.  No one explained what to do when my baby wouldn’t latch or how to navigate formula options. And don’t even get me started on the outdated milestone and feeding advice I got.

I built Eat Play Say because I was tired of watching parents get shut down, brushed off, and just straight-up misinformed.

Instead? I felt completely unsupported.

Hey, I’m Jordyn —

That's when I realized: it shouldn't be this hard to find good, trustworthy information about your baby's development. Parents deserve real support — not a million conflicting opinions or one-size-fits-all advice from people who don't actually specialize in this stuff.

I took everything I did know (and everything I wished I'd known!) and created Eat Play Say — a place where parents can finally get real, straightforward answers from actual early childhood development experts.

It started in 2021 with a focus on speech and feeding, but by 2024, I knew that wasn't enough.

So, I built a team of pediatric pros — OT, PT, dietitian, lactation, and more — to help expand our nap-trapped-friendly resources and support every part of your child's development.

When my “mom gut” told me something was off, no one really listened.

Most parenting resources come from a single expert's perspective, but development doesn't work that way.

You can't fully understand feeding without input from both a dietitian and a feeding specialist. You can't properly address milestones without OT, PT, and SLP perspectives working together. That's why every Eat Play Say resource is created collaboratively by our entire team — giving you the most comprehensive guidance possible, all in one place.
