When it comes to sleepwear, you know my love for 100% cotton pajamas. To be honest, I aim to buy mostly all cotton clothing for my kids and myself. Cotton is a natural fiber that’s soft, breathable, and comfortable for little ones and grown-ups alike. I especially love choosing cotton pajamas for babies and toddlers, where breathable, comfortable options are important for delicate skin.
In this post, I’m sharing my favorite cotton pajamas for the whole family. You’ll find options for babies, toddlers, women, and men. Even some matching pajamas for the holidays!
Organic Cotton Pajamas
I always opt for natural fibers when I can, especially on my kids’ skin. So when I find good clothing that’s 100% cotton, I love it! When it’s GOTS-certified organic cotton, that’s even better. When you see the GOTS certification, that means it prohibits or restricts many chemicals used in the textile processing, including certain dyes, solvents, and finishing agents.
Some of our favorite brands that make GOTS-certified organic cotton pajamas for kids are:
Our go-to brand for cotton pajamas for littles is Burt’s Bees. Their pajamas are 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton and they come in so many playful designs.
Don’t miss their holiday pajama prints that release every year for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I’m always finding new prints I love.
Bonus: The two-piece pajama sets come in the same prints as the baby sleepers, so siblings can match.
Price: $14-16 Sizes: Newborn-9 Months Features: GOTS-certified organic cotton, mitten cuffs on preemie and newborn sizes, two-way zipper, snap at neckline
Best for neutral baby prints and colors
Little Planet by Carter’s is another brand we have worn and loved. These baby pjs are GOTS-certified organic cotton and super soft. The soft, muted colors and prints are adorable. We love the veggies and fruits and the under the sea prints!
Price: 2 for $17.50 Sizes: Preemie-4T Features: Non-slip grips on feet, zipper guard to protect the chin
Best value cotton baby pajamas
I’ve been so impressed with the Sophia Grainge collection. This set of baby sleepers is so affordable and I love the gender neutral hues. There are other sets with different prints and colors, too.
If you’re looking for organic cotton pajamas for kids and the GOTS-certification is important to you, Monica + Andy offers a good option. These two-piece sets are tag-free for additional comfort and perfect for littles with sensory difficulties.
They also offer toddler pajamas featuring fun characters, which can be a big win if your child has a favorite!

Best solid-color pajamas
Lots of solid-colored pajama sets! The Family Feeling brand is affordable and comes in a large range of sizes if you’re looking for matching pajamas for the kiddos.

Most-loved organic cotton pajamas

Best pajamas for postpartumand beyond
The button-down neckline on these is nursing-friendly and the fit is so relaxed. It’s the most comfortable, looser fit for postpartum. I loved them so much I bought multiple colors.
Best GOTS-certified organic cotton pajamas with feminine details
When they say sleep beautifully, they mean it. These women’s pajamas are comfortable and feminine. The long sleeve shirt and shorts are the perfect combination for most seasons.

Best splurge holiday pajamas
We have Hanna Andersson clothes and I love the quality. It’s definitely an investment, but I almost always wait for sales. Their clothing is so well-made and looks adorable on littles.
Holiday HannaJams™ really knocked it out of the park with their holiday prints. From classic Christmas stripes to bold and vibrant festive prints, there are so many options to choose from.
Price: $16-24 (depending on size) Sizes: Newborn-14 Features: Organic cotton, muted tones, gender neutral options for matching
Most affordable organic cotton holiday pajamas
We love Little Planet for their colorful muted tones and classic prints. These holiday pajama prints don’t disappoint. The 12 Days of Christmas print is precious and gender neutral for sibling matching.
These matching pajamas are a more affordable option. I like that the plaid patterns don’t “expire” once the holidays are over. They can last all winter long!

Most parenting resources come from a single expert's perspective, but development doesn't really work that way.
You can't fully understand feeding without input from both a dietitian and a feeding specialist. You can't properly address milestones without OT, PT, and SLP perspectives working together. That's why every Eat Play Say resource is created collaboratively by our entire team — giving you the most comprehensive guidance possible, all in one place.
