Finding the best toddler table and chairs can feel surprisingly complicated. What seems like a simple piece of furniture quickly turns into a bigger decision when you consider space, size, and how you want the table to function. But, we don’t want you to stress!
A toddler table is a great, versatile piece of furniture. For example, it’s a spot where your little ones can eat, learn, create, and play, too! It becomes a hub for coloring, puzzles, arts and crafts, pretend play, snack time and more.
In this post, we rounded up the best toddler table and chair sets, what sets them apart, and other considerations. Whether you’re looking for a toddler table for mealtime, playtime, or sensory activities, we’ve got options.
Price: $375 Material: FSC Certified beech wood, non-toxic plastic Included Chairs: 2 Chair Weight Limit: 200 lbs. Table Dimensions: 23 ⅝” x 23 ⅝” x 19 ⅛” Finishes Available: 2, with 3 chair color options
The Lalo table and chairs are our favorite! We’ve used this table since my oldest was a young toddler and it’s still in perfect condition 4 years later. And we know we will continue to use it as our younger kids grow.
It’s got a clean design that matches with any type of home decor. I like that it’s not super kiddie looking AND it’s made with non-toxic materials. Unlike a lot of toddler chairs, these bucket-shaped chairs can hold up to 200 lbs. This means they can be used from toddlerhood through the early elementary years. And as a parent, you can sit on them, too!
We use this table multiple times a day, every day of the week. That’s no exaggeration! We use it to eat, play, craft, and learn.
The wipe-clean table surface is great for coloring and arts and crafts. Just wipe the scribbles and glue residue away with a damp cloth and soap. Or, if you have a magic eraser, that will do the trick! Lalo even makes giant coloring sheets that fit perfectly on top. This means no mess for you to clean up afterwards.
Truthfully, this toddler table is the perfect size. It’s big enough for two kids to sit comfortably together. But, it’s also compact and lightweight enough to move easily. Most often, it lives in our playroom. But, it travels around the house depending where we need it. We just pick it up and move it!
Did you know switching things up and changing the environment can help with picky eating ruts? My kids love eating at this table whether it’s snacks or a full meal. On nice days, we take it outside to eat on the front porch with our Lalo bento boxes! Get your toddler table outside stat and thank me later!

Most parenting resources come from a single expert's perspective, but development doesn't really work that way.
You can't fully understand feeding without input from both a dietitian and a feeding specialist. You can't properly address milestones without OT, PT, and SLP perspectives working together. That's why every Eat Play Say resource is created collaboratively by our entire team — giving you the most comprehensive guidance possible, all in one place.
