  1. SwimZip Rash Guard: Sun-protective swimwear is so important. I love that this company is women/mom-owned and has matching styles for the family, too. The front zipper is nice for not pulling a tight piece of clothing off your little one’s head!

  2. Sun Protective Blanket: This is a great option if you’re sitting outside or on the beach with baby - a soft blanket with sun protection!

  3. Girls UPF Long Sleeve Suit: The ratings say it all - over 9,000 5-star reviews! It has UPF 50+ sun protection and snaps at the bottom for easy changing. It comes in lots of cute prints and it’s made by a small business!

  4. Sun Hat: I love that this sun hat has 50+ UV ray protection and is made with 95% cotton. Great coverage with the visor in the front and neck protection in the back.

  5. Babiators Sunglasses: These are CUTE! I love the retro look, it’s a total vibe. Jenna had Babiators for her son John when he was little for UVA and UVB protection. The frames are durable, flexible and BPA-free, and lenses are polycarbonate. Bonus: if your Babiators are lost or broken within the first year, the company will replace them for free!

  6. SwimZip Suit: LOVE that this covers the whole body with UPF protection, is machine washable, and comes in so many fun prints/colors.

  7. Bucket Hat: Great reviews and a cute and simple design. Comes in lots of colors and is UPF 50 with a wide brim & chin strap to stay on baby’s head!

  8. HelloBello Sunscreen: A cleaner sunscreen made without synthetic fragrance, parabens, or phthalates and uses non-nano zinc-oxide. Also has no smell at all, which I love!

  9. ThinkBaby Sunscreen: Rated a 2 by EWG, this is a clean sunscreen you can feel good about putting on baby. Also doesn’t have a smell!

  10. Badger Sunscreen: Rated a 1 by the EWG, this is a great, clean sunscreen option for your little one (and the whole family)!

  11. Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator: Okay, this is a cool tool. Fill it with whatever sunscreen you use and roll it to apply! It keeps your hands cleaner, too. Let your little one try to apply their own sunscreen and feel independent without the mess.

  12. Cocosand Sunglasses: Polarized, lightweight and great reviews - I love that these are BPA-free and shatterproof. Plus the attachment band makes them less likely to get lost!

  13. Native Sandals: Aly loves Natives for her 3-year old. They’re lightweight, breathable, and durable for kids on the go! These sandals are great for beach, pool, and more!

  1. Linen Coverup Top: The cutest coverup for the beach and I love that it’s made with 100% cotton! You can wear this as a coverup over swimsuit, or wear it out. Comes in many colors!

  2. Ray-Ban Clubmaster Sunglasses: UV protection and polarized, Ray-Bans never disappoint. And literally, you know you’re accessorizing on trend when your sunglasses are called Clubmasters. The tortoise shell with gold is very on trend right now and is timeless too! Worth the investment.

  3. DIME Wonderscreen: This clean zinc-based sunscreen is so light! To add some “sun-kissed glow” to your face, pick the tinted Wonderscreen, or select the no-tint option. Jordyn uses Shade 2 year round! “EATPLAYSAY” saves 20%!

  4. After Sun Spray: Spray it after the sun, or after a burn. It’s like a spray moisturizer and uses natural ingredients like calendula, lavender oil, and chamomile to soothe burns and hydrate skin!

  5. Billabong Straw Sun Hat: Made from 100% straw, this one is CUTE and great for the beach. I love that the brim is wider for great protection, but not floppy so you can still see well! It comes with a drawcord so you won’t lose it even if the wind is blowing.

  6. Babo Botanicals Mineral Sunscreen Spray: This sunscreen non-aerosol spray uses zinc oxide for sun protection and other sustainable ingredients. It is water resistant and fragrance-free.

  7. SOJOS Sunglasses: Style and protection at a super affordable price - under $20! They have anti-glare lenses and come with a case and microfiber cloth.

  8. Ukes Sunglass Strap: Never lose your sunglasses again! Strap these on sunglasses and go. I love all the fun designs they come in.

  9. ATTITUDE Lip Balm: We all know when we’re in the sun we have to moisturize! This is great for your lips and is EWG verified! Also, plastic-free for the win.

  10. HURRAW Sun Lip Balm: Made by a small business with organic ingredients, I like that this has zinc oxide for SPF protection for the lips, too.

  11. Columbia Fishing Hat: Made well with both UVA & UVB protection, this one has a mesh lining for breathability on hot days and comes in lots of colors!

  1. Rocker Camping Chair: Sit or rock in this collapsible camping chair. It can also be used for watching sports (hello, soccer moms) or at the park/watching the kids outside.

  3. Shibumi Shade: A genius invention for the beach! It’s a sun shade that provides 150 square feet of shade and is powered by wind! And get this - it only weighs 4 pounds (because we know that no one wants to schlep 10 lbs. of umbrellas down to the beach).

  4. Bogg Bag: The Bogg Bag can hold it all! Take it to the pool, the beach, the waterpark, wherever you go. I love that it’s designed by women, waterproof, washable and tip proof!

  5. B. Toys Water Wagon & Toys: All the sand toys you need and a wagon to store them! Build sandcastles galore. Allow your little one to pack their toys “in” the wagon and pull it back home (if they want to/are able!) to help them feel like they had a part in helping with the day.

  6. Baby Delight Portable Chair: Want to do a meal on the beach? Look no further - this chair is portable and has a snack tray, sun shade, and 5-point removable harness. You can use it anywhere and it grows with your child, functioning as a regular chair in toddlerhood and beyond.

  7. Surfer Dude: Toss it into the waves and watch the Surfer Dude (or dudette, or animal) surf. It’s like a surf boomerang. They won’t sink in the water and have great reviews!

  8. Beach Baby Tent w/Shade Pool: Keep baby shaded and cool with this! They can sit at the little pool and play safely while supervised instead of being lugged back and forth to the ocean! The tent has ventilation and can be anchored into the sand.

  9. Melissa & Doug Sand Cupcake Set: Take your little baker to the beach. Pack the cupcake molds with sand to create fun, beachy cupcakes. Have a bake-off at the beach, then bring them home to enjoy in the sandbox, too.

  10. Hape Hand Digger: A great tool for digging holes in the sand or a moat around your sandcastle. These are sturdy and BPA-free!

  11. Wipe Off Sand Mitts: Slip it on your hand and use to wipe sand off your skin! This is an essential to pack and get that stubborn gritty sand off when leaving the beach.

CALLING ALL PUMPING MOMS!

This keeps your breastmilk cool for 20 hours! Especially on a hot day where you need to pump on-the-go, this is a great thing to have! You can pump RIGHT INTO the chill and it’s compatible with most pumps. Check it out!

  1. Watermelon Ball: Like a watermelon, this ball is filled with water and will sink to the bottom of the pool and slowly rise to the surface. It can even be passed and dribbled underwater! A great ball to have for exercise and play at the pool!

  2. Kids Waterproof Underwater Camera: Take digital pictures at the pool, in a splash zone, under the water, and more! There are only a few buttons on the camera so easier for a toddler to figure out.

  3. Baby Swimming Float: Great for a pool day - I like the safety features on this pool float and that it has a sun protective canopy.

  4. Finding Dory Dive and Find Set: Scatter Dory and friends in the pool (or even the bathtub) and use Mr. Ray to retrieve them with the net. Great for hand-eye coordination, too!

  3. Fisher Price Baby Play Dome: This dome is great to use for baby when going outdoors! They can play in it safely with the removable hanging toys, or nap in it, too. Jenna and I both had one for our babies - great for 0-6 months.

  4. Extra Large Picnic Blanket: 80” x 80” - this is a big blanket! It’s water repellant and would be great for a backyard picnic or laying out for baby to play on, too.

  5. B. Toys Ring Toss: Cute smiley rings to toss can help little ones with hand-eye coordination and gross motor development. While you’re playing ladder golf, they can play with this!

  6. Step2 Two-Tiered Water Table: This is big enough so multiple little ones can play together - it hooks up to a hose for water flowing fun!

  7. JBL Portable Bluetooth Speaker: This thing has great sound, is waterproof and dustproof. Jenna’s family has one and uses it to pump some jams while playing cornhole.

  8. JBL Portable Mini Bluetooth Speaker: Small in size with mighty sound, clip this to your bag and take it anywhere!

  9. Step2 Playtime Patio: Have fun on every side while staying shaded. Grill some food, serve it on the other side, and have water or sand play, too!

  10. Inflatable Bounce House w/Splash Pool: Go big or go home, this bounce house with splash pool is a little kid’s dream come true. Bounce, climb, slide, splash, or crawl. It can be used wet or dry.

  11. Ladder Golf: Invite some friends and neighbors over for a ladder golf tournament, or take this along to your next gathering. I love a healthy dose of competition!

  12. Regalo Portable Play Yard: This is my favorite play yard for outdoor play and keeping P contained in a safe space. It’s portable and packs up easily, too! Several size options AND comes with a canopy option, too! Use in the backyard, beach, or even inside!

  1. Splash Pad: When I think of babies and toddlers in summer, I think of the splash pad! Sit your little one right on it or put their slide on it so your little one can slide right in. Perfect for sitting baby and beyond.

  2. Melissa & Doug Sprinkler: Hook this up to your hose and the little worms sprinkle water out of the top! So cute and only $10! Perfect for a summer day with a moving toddler.

  3. Water Guns: These come in a 4-pack for under $25 and can squirt 25+ feet! The whole family can join in the fun!

  4. Handheld Misting Fan: When the heat and humidity is high, this tool is so nice to have on hand. The fan instantly makes the water feel cooler on your face and neck!

  5. Inflatable Pool w/Canopy: Beat the heat with this HUGE inflatable pool and bonus canopy. It has the capacity to hold 2 adults and 5 kids!

  6. Thermos Funtainer: This is my favorite travel cup for littles 10 months and older since it’s very easy to open and shut and the straw is skinnier, so not as much liquid can be sucked through! It also comes in lots of sizes and colors so if your little one likes it, you have options for a long while!

  7. Hydroflask: I love my Hydroflask when packing a bag on the go. The lid screws on tight, doesn’t leak, and keeps my drink cold. Tons of cute colors, too.

  8. Baby Splash Play Mat: Love this pool with shade for your baby and young toddler to hang out without getting hit by the sun! Recommended for 6-24 months.

  9. Reusable Water Balloons: These are all the rage! Fill up with water, splat them on the ground, wall, or toss them towards your toddler to cool off! Model words like “throw, splat, crash, boom.” Perfect for 12 months and older!

  10. Stroller Fan: A game changer. The arms on the fan can wrap around nearly anything making it easy to position on parts of the stroller and keep your little one cool!

  11. Kiddie Pool w/Slide: A water oasis for your little one! This kiddie pool has a slide, inflatable umbrella, and you can hook it up to a hose for the dragon’s nose to become a sprinkler.

  12. Sport-Brella Adjustable Umbrella: Clamp it on and instantly get shade and protection from the sun. It even has a 360 swivel so you can move it as the sun moves throughout the day!

  13. Water Blaster Set: Pull up on the blaster to suck the water in, push down to spray it all out. These are FUN! Jenna’s son has one and loves spraying it in the air, watering the plants with it, and pretending to be a fireman.
