Never Touch a Monster: The “Never Touch” series is so popular with my kids. If you have a baby or young toddler who has trouble paying attention to books, give this one a try! The bright colors and fun textures make for an exciting storytime experience.
Where Does Pig Live?: We love the sliders and flaps in this book. They’re great for your child’s language and fine motor skill development!
Spot Goes Shopping: Get your kiddo excited for grocery shopping by reading this one with them! We love the Spot series because the stories are easy for littles to follow along with.
Grumpy Monkey: This is a fun book that addresses the feeling of “grumpy.” We love this series because it teaches kids that it’s okay to feel your feelings.
Never Touch the Dirty Diggers: Have a truck-loving kid who is learning to count? This touch-and-feel book is full of colorful illustrations as a truck disappears on each page.
Spot’s Fire Engine: Another one from the Spot series - this book is shaped like a fire engine.
Curious George at the Zoo: Curious George is a curious little monkey. This touch-and-feel book helps children become familiar with colors and adjectives!
Doggy Kisses: This counting book is perfect for dog-loving littles and promotes number recognition! My children love the unique illustrations in Todd Parr books because of their bright colors.
Numbers/Numeros: This bilingual touch-and-feel number book is awesome. We love the Roger Priddy books because they are engaging and educational.
Never Touch a Crocodile!: As you can see, we are big fans of the “Never Touch” series! If you have a young baby, instead of reading this book word-for-word, try pointing to each animal and saying its name, while baby touches the silicone textures on each animal.
Busy Airport: Each page in this book is filled with tabs to push, pull, or slide! This is a fun and interactive way for your toddler to learn about the airport!
Opposites: This Sandra Boynton book is a great way for your little one to learn opposites! It is also the perfect size for little hands.
Never Touch a Koala!: Another “Never Touch” book - this series of sensory books is fun to collect and makes a great gift!

Touch & Feel Fall: The variety of textures in this touch-and-feel book make it exciting! The real life pictures are also wonderful for object recognition.
Never Touch a Snake!: If your child loves bugs and other creatures, this one is sure to be a hit. These books are durable and full of fun colors and textures.
Apple Farmer Annie: Follow along with Annie as she picks, sorts and counts her apples and uses some to bake tasty treats!
Jump!: Get your little one off their feet and have them jump up and down with each of the animals!
The Many Mice of Mr. Brice: This is part of the Bright & Early Board Book collection. We love these simplified versions of Dr. Seuss books! Have fun learning the alphabet with all the names of Mr. Brice’s mice.
Oh No, George!: This funny story teaches a good lesson about behavior. Follow along with George as he misbehaves in the beginning of the story and then turns his behavior around in the end!
My Book of Orange: A picture book of orange objects - great for color association and object recognition. Only one picture per page!
This is Baby: This one was always a favorite for Alicia’s son and helped him learn the parts of the body.
Blue Hat, Green Hat: This silly book is another one that is sure to bring some laughs while also helping your little one learn colors and how to wear different articles of clothing. Your little one may even chime in saying “OOPS!” when turkey wears shoes on his head.
Find Spot at the Stadium: Familiarize your child with different sports in this lift-the-flap style book from the Spot series!
Frutas: This simple picture book is great for introducing Spanish to your little ones and is one our bilingual speech pathologist’s favorites.
Dear Zoo: This lift-the-flap book is enjoyable for both babies and toddlers. Lift the flaps to see what animals the zoo sends and if they ever send the perfect pet!
1, 2, 3, Count With Me: These books are great for preschool-aged little ones! Follow the indents to trace the numbers with your fingers and practice counting together!
Poke-a-Dot Construction: Perfect for truck-loving kiddos, this Poke-a-Dot book is engaging and helps work on finger isolation (~15 months).
Grumpy Monkey’s Little Book of Grumpiness: How do we get past grumpiness? The Grumpy Monkey learns how in this book!
Where is Maisy?: Play peekaboo with Maisy as you lift the flaps to find her!
Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb: This is such a fun book of rhymes! Learn what you can do with your hand, fingers, and thumb.
Baby Signs: Signs lead to spoken words! This is an introductory book to signs for baby. Learn how to sign water, all done, more, etc.!
Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See?: We love this classic series! Follow along to see what Baby Bear finds as he searches for Mama.
Goodnight Moon: A true classic for any bookshelf and perfect winding down and reading before bed. Jenna’s son loves this one!
Panda Bear, Panda Bear, What Do You See?: Read to see all the animal friends Panda sees in the day. Great for imitating verbs!
But Not The Hippopotamus: Another silly Sandra Boynton book that doesn’t disappoint. We love the rhymes!
Peek-a-WHO?: This is one of my absolute favorites! It’s repetitive with a surprise on every page, so it’s great for language building and engagement while reading.
Spot Plays Soccer: Spot and his friends play a game of soccer! Great for toddlers learning the basics of the sport.
Touch & Feel Wild Animals: Read about wild animals while engaging in the sensory elements on every page.
Woodland Dance!: This is such a fun book to dance to with your little one. Each animal plays a part!
Find Spot at the Wildlife Park: Turn the pages and lift the flaps to find out who Spot sees at the wildlife park!
Different!: Starring Flo the Flamingo, this book is all about differences and how they are not a bad thing!
Veo Veo: Another favorite from our bilingual speech-language pathologist!
Never Touch a Tiger!: The touch & feel elements on each page engage babies and toddlers alike! We love this series.
Let’s Go, Wheels on the Bus: With spinning wheels on each page and different vehicles and sounds to make, this book engages multiple senses!
Love You Forever: This one tugs at the heartstrings! A book about a mother’s love.
Llama Llama Red Pajama: Llama gets ready for bed. Once he’s tucked in, he makes a little commotion (llama drama) calling out for his mama. We love the lesson of patience in this one.
Little Blue Truck Leads The Way: This series is awesome. Little Blue and his friends are always engaging for toddlers. In this book, Little Blue visits the city.
The Rainbow Fish: A true classic! Rainbow Fish won’t share his scales, but when he gives one away, he sees the happiness his sharing brings to others.
First Words: With one picture and word per page, this book is great for engaging baby!
Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?: Another classic with animal sounds. This book is great for imitation!
Barnyard Dance!: Get up and dance! Spin with the chickens, trot with the turkey, and more. This is one of Jenna’s favorite books to read with her littles.
Crinkle, Crinkle Little Car: A fun twist on Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star with the crinkly car on each page - perfect for car-loving kiddos!
Boop The Snoot: One that babies and toddlers will love. Demonstrate how to boop the animal noses, and have your little one imitate you!
Goodnight, Goodnight, Construction Site: Great for construction lovers! Say goodnight to the trucks at the construction site.
If Animals Kissed Good Night: All about how animals might kiss goodnight. How would the sloths kiss?!
Never Touch a Shark!: The touch and feel aspects are engaging as you explore different ocean animals!
Horns to Toes: Another fun Sandra Boynton book that’s all about the parts of the body. This is a great rhyming book to practice imitation and labeling different body parts!
Silly Lullaby: This one is silly and outrageous! A good book for reading before bed.
Goodnight Princess: If you have a little one who loves princesses, this is a fantastic book to read before bed. Say goodnight to the princess’s necklace, crown, etc. before tucking the “princess” in. Such cute illustrations!
Mommy & Me: Alicia was gifted this book before having her first baby and she loves it! The book details the sweet relationship of a mom and her little one.
Counting on the Earth: A great book about the Earth and environment we share. Would be perfect to read around Earth Day!
Never Touch the Grumpy Pets: Collect them all! We love these books and all the sensory elements in them!
Never Touch the Bugs: Another book that’s great for sensory exploration and the little one who’s interested in bugs.
Find Spot at the Library: Lift the flaps with your little one and try to find Spot at the library’s costume party!
Potty: A simple book to start introducing potty training to your little one.
Let’s Go, Farm Trucks: This book is so fun. You can engage your little one and spin the wheels on every page to get the farm truck moving.
Peek-a-Flap Zoo: Jenna’s family loves these books. The lift-the-flaps keep your toddler engaged, and there are fun facts throughout the book as well. You can modify which words you read depending on your child’s age.
Clifford’s Peekaboo: This was a favorite in Jenna’s house. It’s a chunky board book and the perfect size for little hands. Find Baby Clifford as he hides all around the house!
Stir, Crack, Whisk, Bake: We absolutely love this book! It engages toddlers the whole way through as you “make cupcakes” together. Great for working on functional language and would be perfect to read through as you make real cupcakes in the kitchen!
Babies Love Colors: Lift-the-flap books are our favorite! There are chunky flaps on each page as you start introducing your little one to colors.
Where is Baby’s Belly Button?: A bright and silly book with lift-the-flaps you can use to start labeling body parts and more.
Love Goes a Long Way: Alicia’s boys have this one. It’s a book all about love with engaging and colorful illustrations.
Poke-a-Dot: What’s Your Favorite Color?: You know we love a Poke-a-Dot book! Your little reader can poke the dots and hear a POP! And practice finger isolation, too.
My First Emotions: In this book, there are colors that represent different feelings and emotions - love, confidence, worry, sadness, peaceful, anger & happiness. Each page talks about one feeling and gives little ones time to reflect on when they’ve felt that way.
We Can Get Dressed: Help your little one learn to dress themselves with this book! It has lift-the-flaps and a wheel to spin, too.
Colorful Cars & Trucks: Every type of car and truck and all the colors, too. This is a great book for little ones who love all things transportation. You can label colors throughout the book, too.
ABC of Nature: Jenna loves this one. The illustrations are beautiful, colorful, and some are raised for sensory exploration. Label plants, animals, and trees while learning about them.
Peacock’s Rainbow Feathers: Petey the Peacock shares his different colored feathers with friends in this touch and feel book.
See, Touch, Feel Colors: We love all the books in this collection! The pages each have a few words and there are lots of touch and feel elements to explore with baby and toddler.
